Roller Shutters Installed in York

Towards the later end of 2018, Excel Roller Shutters fitted 2 insulated roller shutter doors, 1 single door and 1 double door for a customer in the York area. Mr Mudd came to us as he wanted additional protection added to his property.

Following the same process as we always do, our engineers visited the site and gathered measurements before progressing with the work. Once we received the go ahead from the client, all products were manufactured on our premises before being installed on site.

The customer opted for 2 electrically operated and insulated roller shutters doors, complete with a manual override. Each panel is made up of individual sections terminated with a hard-wearing Nylon end and a multi ribbed face for rigidity.  The customer had the roller shutters coloured coated in the popular and stylish Anthracite Grey.

In addition to the 2 roller shutters doors, Mr Mudd also choose 1 single and 1 double door, both finished in Anthracite Grey to match. Both constructed from 1.2mm Zintec Steel with a composite Dufalyte honeycomb core for additional strength. Comes fitted with a 14-point locking system and double euro profile cylinder, supplied with 5 keys.

After construction we return to site to install the products and ensure all is as expected by the customer. Mr Mudd was very happy with the installation and is looking forward to not having to worry about the security of his property anymore.
